About The Artist
Jennifer Weiler is a free-lance artist working out of her studio in South Burlington, Vermont. She has been drawing and painting her entire life. With a background in photo-realism, she now works in a mixed fantasy style that she carries through both her illustrative and artisan work. Her passion and driving force behind her work is the magical attributes within animals and people's innate connection to them; the beautiful bond that they share. She's inspired by the Victorian era, the work of Alphonse Mucha and Paul Murray, the nature and animals that she lives among, as well as the love of family and friends.

"I believe there's magic within everything we view as "normal" and "real" and my goal as an artist is to portray that. After spending so many years pursuing photo-realistic methods of creating art, I began to tire of repeating things I already saw on a regular basis. Creating hints of possible fantasy within our everyday reality, similar to our childhood fairy tales, has become my primary focus as an artist."
